I often work with organizations like theaters, community groups, libraries, and schools to facilitate independent workshops and engagements. I've conducted lectures as well as hands-on training, primarily focusing on acting, literature, and all genres of writing

DRAMATIC and CREATIVE WRITING

ACTING and PERFORMANCE

Creative Writing (workshop funded by Poets and Writers), presented in the Catskills. Geared to professional adult writers of fiction and drama with a focus on creating characters.

 

Playwriting in the Classroom a workshop to teach educators how to use theater in the classroom as a form of pedagogy.

Beginning and Intermediate Acting, and Scene Study classes that I taught for 10 years at    The Young Actors Ensemble were designed to give student actors a variety of methods for        to  develop an individual approach to acting founded on technique. Training specializes on     Meisner, Method and Imaginative work.

Adapting Stories into Plays -- numerous workshops at elementary schools guiding teachers and students on adapting  stories, songs and ideas into plays

 

Writing and Staging Original Plays - collaborate with schools to create original works that meet the requirements of the specific school or theater department.
