YOUTH PLAYS.
Plays created for young audiences are designed to be performed by adults or young actors. Each is written to be entertaining, educational and thought-provoking, encouraging audiences to become involved in subjects from fables to physics. Each play employs mystery, music and movement to carry audiences into an unpredictable and magical world that balances truth somewhere between fantasy and reality. Many of the shows involve audience interaction.

PUSS 'n BOOTS FINDS A NEW END is a super imaginative audience interactive play that can be performed by young actors for young audiences. The play is about a young girl who realizes that the end of her story book is missing. In order to find out what happens when the dying old miller gives his youngest son a cat, she engages the audience to help her journey through several famous fairytales. Most important, she learns the value of reading with others.

AESOP UNDER THE HIGHWAY is a 50 minute play packed with contemporary, upbeat music, lots of dance and a message that will stimulate discussion.When a group of high school kids realize there's a reason why their janitor is named after the Ancient Greek story teller, Aesop -- their world takes a rather interesting twist. It is It's the best way to bring Aesop’s fables into the 21st century.

THE SECRET OF INERTIA is a 90 minute play about a young boy who goes on a dangerous journey to recover the fundamental laws governing the universe in order to keep the universe intact for human existence. His escapades take him to the most far-flung locations to collect the laws of relativity, gravity, the Doppler shift, and those governing motion.

HALLOWEEN HISTORIES is a 40 minute musical play about a young girl and her dog who take a path through a graveyard to get to the best Halloween candy in the neighborhood. But on their way . . . they find themselves haunted by an odd assortment of ghosts from history. Fortunately the ghosts aren't as scary as they like to think they are. Meet -- Jackie Robinson, Judy Garland, Cleopatra, Wilbur and Orville Wright, King Arthur and Albert Einstein

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM is a 40 minute musical play designed for a large student cast. The show is designed to connect students with the most influential fine art of the ages, including Salvidor Dali's"Persistence of Memory" and paintings by Mary Cssett, Van Gogh, Leonardo Davinci and others. When famous artist Winslow Homer can't find the paintbrush he needs to complete "Snap the Whip," he embarks on a journey through several paintings that come alive and eventually lead him to the culprit. The show includes themes of bullying, loneliness, and entitlement. The music is simple and the show is designed to be directed and rehearsed in small stand alone sections.
Initially developed with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Esther Jackson for school-wide participation involving 268 elementary students.
